WILMINGTON, Del.—January 7, 2011 – Bayard, P.A., a Meritas® member law firm based in Wilmington Delaware, announced today that Colin R. Robinson has joined the firm as an associate expanding its capacity in the area of bankruptcy law.
Colin R. Robinson concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate restructuring, insolvency and creditors’ rights. Colin currently represents creditors and statutory committees in several Delaware bankruptcy cases, and acted as counsel to trustees and debtors while practicing in New Jersey. Prior to joining Bayard, Robinson was an associate at a New Jersey based law firm where he served as debtor’s counsel for a foreign owned retail company and mortgage lender, and represented a Chapter 11 Debtor in Possession, among other matters.
In 2008, 2009 and 2010, Colin was recognized by New Jersey Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in bankruptcy. He is a graduate of Temple University, James A. Beasley School of Law and the University of Pennsylvania. While in law school, Robinson was a member of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Team.
Robinson is licensed to practice in Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and in the United States District Courts, including the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, District of New Jersey, Southern District of New York, and the Eastern District of New York.
