Attorneys Neil Glassman, Ashley Stitzer, Jamie Edmonson, and GianClaudio Finizio attended the 5th Annual American Bankruptcy Institute Mid-Atlantic Conference in Hershey, PA from August 6-8, 2009.  The conference was attended by over 200 restructuring professionals, primarily from the Mid-Atlantic region.  Neil Glassman served as a member of the Advisory Board, and  Jamie Edmonson spoke on a panel discussing post-confirmation issues.

Glassman is chairman of the Board of Directors of Bayard and chairs the firm's bankruptcy group. Neil focuses his practice on bankruptcy and insolvency law, and regularly represents debtors, official committees of unsecured creditors or equity holders, secured lenders, banks, insurance companies, and other creditors in large bankruptcy cases and other insolvency proceedings including insurance company insolvencies. An experienced transactional attorney, Neil has also developed a substantial practice representing clients in relation to the law of Delaware business entities including corporations, business trusts, general and limited partnerships, limited liability companies, and captive insurance companies. Neil joined Bayard in 1986.

Stitzer is a director at Bayard. Ashley focuses her practice on bankruptcy, creditors' rights, commercial litigation, and intellectual property litigation. She has considerable experience representing secured and unsecured creditors, official creditors' committees, trustees and debtors in bankruptcy cases. Ashley joined Bayard in 2000.

Edmonson is a senior counsel at Bayard. Jamie focuses her practice in the areas of commercial bankruptcy, restructurings, insolvencies, liquidations, representation of debtors, statutory committees, lenders, and asset purchasers.  In her more than 12 years of practice, Jamie has represented public and non-public debtor corporations, secured and unsecured creditors, official committees, trustees, and asset purchasers in bankruptcy and restructuring matters.

Finizio is an associate at Bayard. He concentrates his practice counseling companies on mergers and acquisitions, including assisting in structuring, negotiating and documenting transactions; general corporate and business law matters; corporate governance issues; and providing legal opinions on provisions of Delaware law relating to corporate transactions. His focus as a transactional attorney is enhanced and complemented by significant experience in the areas of corporate bankruptcy and commercial litigation.
