Bayard attorneys Doug Hershman and Kara Swasey are presenting a seminar entitled “Understanding the Delaware Tenant Landlord Code” at the 2012 Delaware Apartment Association Annual Conference on March 20, 2012. Doug leads the firm’s diverse real estate practice, representing clients engaged in all aspects of the real estate industry throughout Delaware and its surrounding states. His practice has included representations of both buyers and sellers of commercial and residential real estate, as well as borrowers in financing transactions. Doug also represents lenders making commercial real estate loans. He handles transactions involving both commercial and residential properties, including retail shopping centers, office buildings, apartment complexes and residential subdivisions. Doug has been recognized as a leading attorney in the field of real estate law by both Chambers USA (2006 through 2011), Delaware Super Lawyers (2007 through 2010), and Lawdragon 3000 (2006 through 2011). Kara is an associate at Bayard and she works closely with Doug on litigation matters arising out of the Firm’s real estate practice.
