Bayard Holds Food Drive for Food Bank of Delaware “Thanksgiving For All” Program
Bayard attorneys and staff collected 171 pounds of canned goods and non-perishable food items during a week-long food drive to benefit the Food Bank of Delaware’s “Thanksgiving For All” program. The food drive took place in advance of the Thanksgiving holiday from Monday, November 14 through Friday, November 18. The Food Bank of Delaware took the donation to its Newark facility on Friday, November 18, where the items were distributed throughout a network of Hunger-Relief Program Partners.
The Food Bank distributes millions of pounds of food and grocery products each year through a network of 575 hunger-relief program partners throughout the state and also provides thousands of meals a month for children through the After-School Nutrition Program, the Summer Food Service Program and the Backpack Program.
