Bayard Selected as Co-Counsel to the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of Xtera Communications, Inc.

Bayard has been selected to serve as co-counsel to the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors (the “Committee”) in In re Xtera Communications, Inc. (Case No.: 16-12577 (KJC)) filed on November 15, 2016, in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. The Office of the United States Trustee formed the Committee on November 23, 2016.  After its formation, the Committee selected Lowenstein Sandler LLP and Bayard, P.A. as its legal counsel. Bayard director Justin R. Alberto and senior associate Evan T. Miller are involved in the representation.

Xtera Communications provides high-capacity optical transport solutions for telecommunications service providers, content providers, data center operators, enterprises and government entities all over the world, as well as pre- and post-implementation services including training, maintenance and support. The company was founded in 1998 and is headquartered in Allen, Texas.
