Bayard Welcomes Beth Powers to the Firm’s Litigation Group

Bayard P.A. is pleased to have welcomed Elizabeth A. Powers to the firm as an associate in its Litigation Group on December 11, 2017. Beth concentrates her practice in the areas of corporate, commercial and intellectual property litigation in Delaware’s state and federal courts.

Beth, who began practicing in Delaware 5 years ago, brings a great breadth and depth of experience to the firm.  She has litigated business divorce cases; judicial dissolutions of corporations and limited liability companies; disputes regarding fiduciary duties of officers and directors of corporations; actions for advancement or indemnification of attorneys’ fees and expenses; and anti-suit injunctions.

Beth earned her degree from Widener University Delaware Law School in 2010.  During law school, Beth served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Mary M. Johnston in the Delaware Superior Court’s Complex Commercial Litigation Division.  After law school, she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Kent A. Jordan, of United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit as well as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Mary M. Johnston.
