WILMINGTON, Del. - May 12, 2009 - Bayard P.A., a Meritas® member law firm based in Wilmington Delaware, announced today that associate Elizabeth A. Rocco has been admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar effective May 1, 2009.  She is also admitted to the Delaware Bar (2009) and the New Jersey Bar (2008).

Rocco concentrates her practice in the areas corporate formation and governance, corporate and commercial transactions, commercial and residential real estate, and commercial lending.  She is a member of the Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and American Bar Associations.

Rocco graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in English in 2000 and earned her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 2008.  During law school, she served as a Judicial Extern to the late Honorable Peter B. Scuderi of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.  Rocco also served as the Managing Editor of Student Works for the Villanova University Sports & Entertainment Law Journal. 

Prior to attending law school, Rocco was employed as a Private Client Wealth Management Relationship Assistant at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. in Boston, Massachusetts.
