Bayard’s Evan T. Miller Appointed to Governing Committee for TMA NextGen’s Philadelphia Chapter
Evan Thomas Miller, a bankruptcy associate at Bayard, was recently appointed to the Turnaround Management Association (“TMA”) NextGen’s governing committee for the Philadelphia chapter. Evan will be joining the 10-person committee with colleagues from the corporate renewal and turnaround industry, including attorneys, lenders, investors and other related professionals.
TMA is the only international non-profit association dedicated to corporate renewal and turnaround management. Established in 1988, TMA has more than 9,300 members in 49 chapters, including 31 in North America and one each in Australia, Brazil, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Romania, Singapore, Southern Africa, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom.
The Philadelphia chapter, with more than 330 members, serves the Greater Philadelphia and Delaware regions. It was voted the “2012 TMA Chapter of the Year”.
TMA’s NextGen program provides networking, education and career development opportunities and resources at both the national and chapter level for those who are in the early stages of their careers in the turnaround and corporate renewal industry.
Evan, who has been with Bayard since 2009, serves as an executive committee member in several other professional associations, including the Delaware Bankruptcy American Inn of Court, the Delaware State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section, the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Committee, among others.
