Evan T. Miller, an associate in Bayard’s Bankruptcy Group, attended the third annual Turnaround Management Association (“TMA”) NextGen Leadership Meeting held December 13 through 15 at the New York City offices of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. The annual invite-only meeting of current and future TMA Global and Chapter NextGen leaders offered strategic planning sessions with senior level managers and directors, professional development, and networking opportunities specifically tailored to younger practitioners in the turnaround industry. Evan currently serves on the governing committee for the TMA NextGen Philadelphia chapter. The Philadelphia chapter has more than 330 members and serves the Greater Philadelphia and Delaware regions. It was voted the “2012 TMA Chapter of the Year”.

The Turnaround Management Association (TMA) is a global non-profit organization comprised of turnaround and corporate renewal professionals with more than 9,300 members in 49 chapters including 31 in North America. TMA’s stated mission is to serve as a forum for professionals from all corporate renewal and turnaround disciplines to promote high standards of practice, foster professional development, and enhance the image of TMA members.

TMA NextGen provides networking, education and career development opportunities and resources at both the national and chapter level for those who are in the early stages of their careers in the turnaround and corporate renewal industry.

Evan has been with Bayard since 2009. He is active on the executive boards of several other professional associations, including the Delaware Bankruptcy American Inn of Court and the American Bar Association.
