Bayard’s Evan T. Miller Elected to Executive Board of the Delaware Bankruptcy American Inn of Court

Evan T. Miller was recently elected to the executive board of the Delaware Bankruptcy American Inn of Court (“DBIC”) for the 2013-2015 term.  Evan will be serving as Social Chair for the DBIC.  The executive board will consist of the Honorable Kevin Gross, the Honorable Mary F. Walrath, Karen B. Skomorucha Owens, Lisa Coggins, Laurie Selber Silverstein, Donna Harris, and Evan.

The DBIC is an award-winning Inn of Court located in Wilmington, Delaware.  It is open to all members of the Delaware Bar who practice in the areas of commercial and consumer bankruptcy law.  The DBIC promotes improvement in legal skills, professionalism and ethical conduct through its mentoring system and its monthly programs.  Each monthly program involves a presentation through lectures, skits or other creative avenues to discuss a specific topic of current interest to bankruptcy attorneys.  The members making the presentations also prepare and distribute detailed materials related to the topic each month.

Evan, a bankruptcy associate with Bayard since 2009, has been or remains active on committees in several other professional associations, including the Federal Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Delaware State Bar Association.
