The Bankruptcy Law Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association (“PBA”), chaired by Bayard attorney Evan T. Miller, was awarded Committee of the Year by the PBA’s Business Law Section (“BLS”).  Evan and the Committee were recognized and presented with a plaque at the PBA BLS’s Annual Reception on January 31, 2017.  Evan served as Chair of the Committee from 2015 until December 2016, when he was appointed to the Executive Committee of the PBA BLS.  His Executive Committee term began on January 1, 2017.

The Philadelphia Bar Association, founded in 1802, is the oldest association of lawyers in the United States. It is a keystone in the ongoing developments of the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania legal systems and serves as a resource for professional support and information sharing.  The BLS is the largest section of the PBA.

Evan concentrates his practice in corporate bankruptcy and restructuring. In addition to the PBA, Evan remains active on the executive boards of several other professional associations, including TMA NextGen Philadelphia and the Delaware Bankruptcy American Inn of Court, among others.
