Curtis P. Bounds, a director and the head of Bayard’s family law practice was recently elected Chair of the Delaware Humanities Council.  His term begins in September 2013.  The 24 member Council serves as the board of directors of the Delaware Humanities Forum, a 501(c)(3) corporation entrusted with developing programs that promote the humanities in Delaware and administering the State’s federal grant money from the National Endowment for the Humanities.  Curtis has served on the Council for 5 years.  The Delaware Humanities Forum provides humanities’ resources and experiences to the people of Delaware through its grants to nonprofit organizations, education outreach, directed readings and dramatic presentations, and other programs and media designed to bring the public together with humanities’ specialists.
