Evan T. Miller Attends American Inns of Court's Leadership Summit as a Representative of the Delaware Bankruptcy Inn of Court

Bayard associate Evan T. Miller, a member of the firm’s Bankruptcy Group, attended the American Inns of Court’s 2014 Third Circuit Leadership Summit in Philadelphia, PA on March 14, 2014. Evan attended the event as a representative of the Delaware Bankruptcy Inn of Court (“DBIC”), for which he currently serves as an executive board member. He will serve as the Social Chair for the DBIC through 2015. The Leadership Summit focused on enhancing leadership of the Inns of Court program, and included several presentations and roundtable discussions about creating compelling meetings, developing effective programs, and growing Inn of Court membership.

The DBIC is an award-winning Inn of Court located in Wilmington, Delaware. It is open to all members of the Delaware Bar who practice in the areas of commercial and consumer bankruptcy law. The DBIC promotes improvement in legal skills, professionalism and ethical conduct through its mentoring system and its monthly programs.

The American Inns of Court is one of the fastest growing legal organizations in the country. Its mission is to foster excellence in professionalism, ethics, civility, and legal skills. Today, there are more than 28,000 judges and lawyers actively participating in an Inn of Court and over 80,000 judges and lawyers who are alumni of an Inn. There are also more than 150 accredited law schools participating with one or more Inns in some capacity.

In addition to his involvement with the DBIC, Evan is an executive member of several other professional associations, including Turnaround Management Association Philadelphia NextGen, the Delaware State Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Section, and the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Committee, among others.
