Justin Alberto Moderates NCBJ Conference Panel

Justin R. Alberto, a Director in Bayard’s Business Restructuring and Liquidation group, moderated a panel entitled Equitable Mootness, Its Evolving Case Law and Impact on Chapter 11 Practice, at the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges in Las Vegas, NV on Monday, October 9, 2017. The panel’s audience consisted of a group of restructuring professionals and federal Bankruptcy Judges.  The panel discussed the concept of equitable mootness, its evolution in and importance to chapter 11 practice as well as the future of the judge-made doctrine.

The National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges is an association of the Bankruptcy Judges of the United States.  The annual conference is among the most highly attended conferences each year in the restructuring industry.
