Kara M. Swasey, an experienced family law attorney at Bayard and Chair of the Family Law section of the Delaware State Bar Association, was a guest speaker at a Delaware Paralegal Association’s Lecture Luncheon. Kara presented an overview of Family Law at the event, which took place on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the Sheraton Suites in downtown Wilmington.
Founded in 1976, the Delaware Paralegal Association is a comprehensive resource for paralegals in the state of Delaware. The Delaware Paralegal Association provides a complete network of employment, educational, and pro bono opportunities to its more than 300 members. Bayard paralegals involved in the Delaware Paralegal Association include Larry Morton and Janell Foster, who are active members of the organization, and Tiffany Matthews, who is on the Board of Directors as the Special Projects Director.
