Megan McGovern, an associate at Bayard, P.A. was honored to be nominated by the Rodney Inn of Court and selected by the Delaware Supreme Court to speak to this years’ admittees to the Delaware  State Bar at Delaware State University in Dover, Delaware on December 13, 2017.  Megan spoke to a crowd of 100 lawyers waiting to be sworn into the Delaware State Bar about lessons she has learned as a new lawyer. Each year, the Delaware Supreme Court presides over a ceremony to admit to the Bar those persons who successfully passed the Delaware State Bar exam.  Megan was particularly pleased to speak during the ceremony, as it was not that long ago that she, herself, sat through the very same ceremony listening intently to the young lawyer standing before her offering advice.

Megan is a family law attorney for Bayard, P.A. She graduated magna cum laude from Delaware Law School (formerly Widener School of Law) in 2015.
