Bayard associates Megan McGovern and Greg Flasser attended the 1st annual Millennial Summit in Wilmington, DE last week. Over 300 attendees joined speakers like Mayor Purzycki, Governor Carney, the Co-Founder of The Mill, Robert Herrera, and Ambassador Vlora Citaku, of the Republic of Kosovo at the Chase Center for the all-day experience. The entire day focused on bringing together local visionaries, idea sharing, leadership and professional development, and ultimately encouraging young leaders to get involved in the community. The breakout sessions covered a wide range of topics including Privacy & Security in the Digital Age, From Idea to Impact: Making the Most of Volunteer Opportunities, and Reimagining Delaware and Beyond.
“I was excited to be a part of the Millennial Summit’s inaugural conference. It shows that the city is taking an active role in providing networking opportunities for young professionals in the area. I look forward to participating in the other upcoming events and activities they have planned,” Flasser said.
