The Bayard Firm to Co-Sponsor Delaware Trust Conference
The Bayard Firm is once again a co-sponsor the Delaware Trust Conference, hosted by The Delaware Bankers Association, Nov. 28-Nov. 30, 2007 at the Hotel Du Pont Conference Center in Wilmington, Delaware. This is the second year the Firm has been a co-sponsor of the the conference.
The annual Delaware Trust Conference provides the latest information on issues which are often unique to Delaware Personal and Corporate Trusts. Topics of discussion will include Outside Competition from Other States and Countries, The Use of Delaware Statutory Trusts for Personal Trust Planning, Life Settlements/Premium Financing, Changing Trust Situs to Delaware, New Corporate Transactions, New Developments in Trust Taxation, Conflicting Demands: Corporate vs. Legal Issues, Directed Trusts, Delaware Trust Law: A Legislative Update and Trust Ethics in Delaware.
Steven R. Director, a director at The Bayard Firm, will serve on the panel discussing “Overlap of Corporate and Personal Trusts: The Use of Delaware Statutory Trusts for Personal Trust Planning.” This joint Personal and Corporate Trust session will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Conference participants will include trust professionals, administrators, attorneys, tax professionals, compliance professionals and asset management advisors from across the US.
