The Bayard Firm Welcomes Two New Litigation Lawyers

The Bayard Firm announced today that Scott G. Wilcox and Stephen B. Brauerman have joined the firm's Business Litigation Group.


"We're pleased to welcome these talented lawyers to the firm," said Jeffrey Schlerf, Chairman of The Bayard Firm.  "They significantly enhance our existing litigation practice in the areas of real estate, construction, corporate governance and commercial law in the Court of Chancery and other state and federal courts.  These additions allow us to provide an even greater depth of legal services to our clients."

Scott G. Wilcox joins The Bayard Firm as an associate from Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz LLP.  Wilcox will continue to focus his practice in business law including commercial and real estate litigation, environmental law, zoning and land use, and construction law.  He previously served as a County Attorney for New Castle County, counseling and representing New Castle County Council, Departments of Special Services and Land Use, and Police Department.  He also served as a prosecutor in the State Attorney General's Office Criminal Division.  Wilcox earned his B.A from the University of Delaware and his J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.  He is admitted to practice law in Delaware.

Stephen B. Brauerman joins The Bayard Firm as an associate, focusing his practice in the areas of corporate governance and commercial litigation in the Court of Chancery and Superior Court.  Brauerman received his B.A. with honors from The Johns Hopkins University and his J.D. cum laude from American University's Washington College of Law where he served as Editor-in-Chief of American University Law Review.  While in law school, Brauerman was a judicial intern for the Honorable Gerald Bruce Lee of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.  He is admitted to practice law in Delaware and New Jersey.
