Jay Dewey, eDiscovery Associate
Wilmington, Delaware-- Bayard, PA is pleased to announce that Jay Dewey has joined the firm as an Associate in eDiscovery. Jay will help manage the electronic discovery needs of the firm’s litigation and bankruptcy clients.
Jay is a Delaware native who graduated cum laude University of Delaware, where he double majored in History and Political Science. While obtaining his undergraduate degree, he interned for Senator Tom Carper. Following his graduation from UD, he attended Rutgers University School of Law-Camden, where he volunteered and law clerked at Community Legal Aid Society, Inc. (CLASI) in downtown Wilmington. Public service, volunteerism, and protecting those who are impoverished, disabled, and elderly continues to be a passion of Jay’s. He currently volunteers for the Delaware Medical Reserve Corps, where they prepare for and respond to public health emergencies - such as: COVID-19 vaccination and testing events during the height of the pandemic.
Prior to joining Bayard, Jay spent over 12 years working at a large firm in Philadelphia in eDiscovery where he executed technology-assisted review projects for corporate clients by utilizing advanced predictive coding platforms. He was also responsible for searches for relevant client documents, and properly identifying responsive, privileged, confidential, and sensitive client information for internal discovery, requests for production, and litigation purposes. His areas of focus included corporate compliance, products liability, contracts, and mass torts.
