Bankruptcy Associate Evan T. Miller Appointed to ABI Committee Leadership



Bayard attorney Evan T. Miller has been appointed as the Special Projects/Task Force Leader for the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Young & New Members Committee (the “Committee”). In this position, Evan will lead ad hoc groups, at the direction of the Committee co-chairs, in performing research projects, presenting educational webinars, conducting study groups, preparing manuals, creating practice tools, writing other publications, and undertaking other tasks. As the Special Projects/Task Force Leader, Evan will also coordinate with the co-chairs to assemble a group of Committee volunteers to accomplish each project. His term begins this month.

The American Bankruptcy Institute (“ABI”) is the largest multi-disciplinary, non-partisan organization dedicated to research and education on matters related to insolvency. The Committee encourages the active involvement of young bankruptcy practitioners.

In addition to this position in ABI, Evan has published a number of articles in its publications, including the Committee’s Newsletter, the Unsecured Trade Creditors Committee Newsletter, and the ABI Journal. He also serves as an executive member of several other professional associations, including the Turnaround Management Association Philadelphia NextGen, the Delaware State Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Section, the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Committee, and the Delaware Bankruptcy Inn of Court.
