Bayard Selected as Delaware Counsel to the Libbey Glass, Inc. Unsecured Creditors Committee

Bayard, P.A. has been selected to serve as Delaware counsel to the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors (the “Committee”) in In re Libbey Glass, Inc., et al. (Case No. 20-11439 (LSS)).  The Office of the United States Trustee formed the Committee on June 11, 2020.  After its formation, the Committee selected Bayard, P.A. as its Delaware counsel, Brown Rudnick LLP as its lead counsel, and Greenhill and Co. as its financial advisor.  Bayard attorneys Neil B. Glassman, Scott D. Cousins, Erin R. Fay and Sophie E. Macon are involved in the matter.

Libbey Glass, Inc. (the “Debtors”) is a Toledo, Ohio-based housewares company that serves customers globally.  The 200-year-old company plans to reorganize while in chapter 11.  The Debtors filed for chapter 11 protection on Monday, June 1, 2020, in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
