Bayard Paralegals Donate to Stockings for Soldiers
On Friday, November 4, 2011, Bayard Paralegals Stephanie Breckenridge, Tiffany Matthews, and Larry Morton participated in the Stockings for Soldiers program in Conjunction with the Delaware Paralegal Association (DPA). The DPA is a comprehensive resource to its over 300 members in the state of Delaware that provides a complete network of opportunities. Stockings for Soldiers was founded 8 years ago with the mission to improve the morale and welfare of members of the armed forces of the United States of America who are deployed in harm’s way. Numerous organizations partner each year to donate, package and deliver stockings filled with special items and care packages filled with food to our troops. This year, Stockings for Soldiers specially requested Ramen noodles, in addition to many other items. Volunteers will be meeting this week to assemble the packages and mail them off before the holidays.
