Bayard Sponsors the "Women Mean Business Summit: Together reaching our Potential"

Bayard will be a sponsor of the "Women Mean Business Summit: Together reaching our Potential" to be held on Saturday, January 30th at the Hilton Wilmington/Christiana hosted by the Delaware chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners ("NAWBO"). Featuring nationally-renowned author and entrepeneurial consultant Mary Cantando, the 2010 summit will be a forum for local women business owners to particpate in panel discussions with local successful female business owners, workshops and networking sessions. Bayard attorney Marla H. Norton, a former NAWBO Delaware board member, notes "Because NAWBO Delaware is a part of a national organization, it has access to an extraordinary pool of resources and inspirational speakers, as well as a strong support network that reaches women business owners in Delaware as well as their counterparts in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and beyond."

The NAWBO Delaware Chapter formed to meet the growing needs of women business owners in Delaware. The chapter is an affiliate of The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), headquartered in Washington, DC, which is the only dues-based national organization representing the interests of all women entrepreneurs in all types of businesses.

NAWBO Delaware’s mission is to enable women business owners to grow by coming together to share mutual experiences, exchange information and develop business skills. As an affiliate of NAWBO’s Washington, D.C. National Headquarters and one of 80 chapters nationwide, the Delaware Chapter offers the resources and networking opportunities both locally and nationally for female entrepreneurs to grow their businesses.
