Bayard’s Evan T. Miller Elected Chairman of the Executive Board of the Delaware State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section
Evan T. Miller, an attorney with Bayard’s Bankruptcy Group, was recently elected Chairman of the executive board of the Delaware State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section (“DSBA-YLS”) for the 2014-2015 term. Evan served as Treasurer for the DSBA-YLS during the 2013-2014 term.
The DSBA-YLS provides opportunities for attorneys to become acclimated to the practice of law in Delaware, meet their new colleagues, and learn about the activities of the Delaware State Bar Association. The Section sponsors informative seminars relevant to the issues facing new attorneys, provides resources to help them establish roots in the legal community, and promotes collegiality through a variety of social gatherings in all three Delaware counties.
Evan, with Bayard since 2009, remains active on the executive boards of several other professional associations, including the Delaware Bankruptcy American Inn of Court, Turnaround Management Association, and the American Bar Association, among others.
