Bayard’s Sara Bussiere Moderates Career Panel for Young Lawyers and Law Students at ABA Business Law Section Annual Meeting

Bayard’s Sara E. Bussiere moderated a panel at the American Bar Association’s (ABA) 2016 Business Law Section Annual Meeting in Boston, MA on Wednesday, September 7, 2016.  The panel, entitled “Pathways to a Successful Career in Business Law,” featured current practitioners from around the country who offered practical tips on preparing for and advancing a business law practice.  The panel also highlighted and discussed emerging fields in business law.  The ABA hosted the event in conjunction with Boston College Law School’s Career Services.

Sara is an associate in Bayard’s Litigation Department.  Sara concentrates her practice on corporate and commercial litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery, Delaware Superior Court, and the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.  Sara counsels clients concerning the General Corporation Law of the State of Delaware and Delaware’s alternative entity statutes.  Sara has experience in a broad range of corporate matters, including fiduciary duty claims, corporate and alternative entity control disputes, advancement and indemnification claims, trade secret and noncompetition agreement disputes, and other breach of contract claims.  Sara also has experience advising corporate entities in receivership or seeking dissolution.  She is also the publication chair of the ABA Business Law Section’s Young Lawyer Committee.
