Curtis P. Bounds Speaks at the DSBA’s Annual Family Law Update
On Friday, December 12, 2014, Bayard Director Curtis P. Bounds spoke at the Family Law Section of the Delaware State Bar Association’s (DSBA) Annual Family Law Update. He presented summaries of unreported decisions submitted to him by the Family Court from 2013 and 2014. Curtis is a past Chair of the DSBA Family Law Section and has been presenting the annual unreported case law update for 11 years. The event was held at the Christiana Hilton in Newark, Delaware.
Curtis is the head of Bayard’s Family Law Practice. He concentrates his practice in complex divorce and child custody cases. He also assists clients with pre-nuptial agreements, support matters, visitation and adoption. He currently serves as Commissioner to the Delaware Family Law Commission and as Vice-Chair of the Delaware Humanities Council, the governing board of the Delaware Humanities Forum. Curtis was recognized by Best Lawyers® as the 2015 Wilmington, DE Family Law “Lawyer of the Year”.
