Wilmington, Delaware- Bayard, P.A. announced today that Erin R. Fay has been selected for the American Bankruptcy Institute Class of 2020 “40 Under 40” Emerging Leaders in Insolvency Practice list. Fay is accompanied by an esteemed group of professionals, all under the age of 40, who are excelling in the insolvency practice.
The ABI steering committee received over 200 nominations earlier this year for rising stars in the industry. Forty were selected to participate in an initiative designed by the ABI to engage the future leaders in the insolvency practice. The honorees will be recognized at a virtual ceremony scheduled for February 2021.
Erin Fay is a director at Bayard, P.A. in the Bankruptcy group. She represents debtors, committees, lenders, creditors, and other parties in complex business bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court restructurings. Erin represents clients across a range of industries, including retail, energy, healthcare, medical devices, and financial services. Her experience further includes preparing companies for Chapter 7 filings and representing foreign representatives in Chapter 15 proceedings. Erin also has experience representing assignees in assignments for the benefit of creditors under Delaware law in the Delaware Court of Chancery.
