Bayard attorneys Curtis P. Bounds, Kara M. Swasey and Megan McGovern participated in the Annual Family Law Update sponsored by the Family Law Section of the Delaware State Bar Association on Friday, December 7, 2018. For the 15th consecutive year, Curtis Bounds, a Director and head of the firm’s Family Law Practice, presented summaries and trends from unreported opinions issued by the Family Court during the past year. Alongside Dr. Mandel Much and Cathy Seeber from CapTrust, Director, Kara Swasey spoke on Advising a Client with Substance Abuse Issues. Megan McGovern, an associate at the firm, served as a speaker on a panel discussion with the Honorable Robert Coonin and a University of Delaware Financial Aid Officer, that discussed the division of student loans in ancillary proceedings.
