Wilmington, Delaware- On June 14, 2019, Bayard associate, Megan McGovern participated in a panel discussion at the Delaware State Bar Association (DSBA) 2019 Bench and Bar Conference. The panel, titled “Exploring the Curiouser and Curiouser World of Family Court: A Hands-On Effective Guide to Some of the Most Difficult Adventures in Law”, provided a comprehensive look at emerging issues in Family Court custody matters. The interactive session focused on style, performance, and expectations through analysis of hypothetical scenarios. A panel of jurists and practitioners evaluated and discussed the evidentiary issues and ethical responsibilities for each step in the litigation process, from pre-trial client preparation to presentation of evidence and witnesses at trial.
