New Lawyers Join Bayard

Bayard, P.A. announced today that it has added two new associates: Justin R. Alberto and Elizabeth A. Rocco. They expand the firm's Bankruptcy and Business Entity and Commercial Transactions practice areas, respectively.

Justin R. Alberto concentrates his practice on corporate bankruptcy and restructuring, particularly in the area of debtor and creditor rights under Chapter 11. Alberto is admitted to practice law in Delaware, as well as the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. He is a member of the Delaware, American, and Federal Bar Associations.

Alberto graduated from Springfield College with a B.S. in Business and Economics in 2004 and earned his J.D., cum laude, from Widener University School of Law in 2008.

During law school, Alberto served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Henry duPont Ridgely, Justice of the Delaware Supreme Court. He also served as the Managing Editor of the Widener Law Review and was a member of the Moe Levine Mock Trial Honor Society. Alberto currently volunteers as an Event Assistant for Delaware's Special Olympics.

Elizabeth A. Rocco concentrates her practice in the areas corporate formation and governance, corporate and commercial transactions, commercial and residential real estate, and commercial lending. Rocco is admitted to practice law in Delaware and New Jersey. She is a member of the Delaware, New Jersey, and American Bar Associations.

Rocco graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in English in 2000 and earned her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 2008. During law school, she served as a Judicial Extern to the late Honorable Peter B. Scuderi of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Rocco also served as the Managing Editor of Student Works for the Villanova University Sports & Entertainment Law Journal.

Prior to attending law school, Rocco was employed as a Private Client Wealth Management Relationship Assistant at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. in Boston, Massachusettsx
