Bayard, P.A. is pleased to announce that Leadership Delaware, Inc. (“LDI”) accepted Sara E. Bussiere, an associate in Bayard’s litigation group, as a Fellow in the LDI Class of 2018.  After an intensive application and interview process, Sara was one of 27 Fellows – and the only attorney – selected to participate in the program.  Described as “an MBA in Delaware,” LDI prepares Delaware’s brightest young leaders to rise to the highest levels of leadership through a rigorous 10-month program which includes dynamic speakers, mentorship, collaboration with nonprofits, networking opportunities, and group projects to sharpen Fellows’ leadership skills and enhance their experiences.  LDI arms outstanding young Delawareans with the knowledge, vision, integrity, and network to impact significantly and transform their communities and to excel at community, nonprofit, political, professional, and corporate leadership within the First State.

LDI’s 10th Anniversary Class of 2018 is comprised of young leaders from all professional sectors.  “I am honored to participate in such a dynamic program.  I look forward to meeting new people who work in different fields and learning about Delaware’s achievements and challenges.  This program will undoubtedly enhance my professional and personal skills and enable me to continue to make a meaningful difference in my home state,” said Bussiere.

Sara is an associate in Bayard’s litigation group.  She concentrates her practice on corporate and commercial litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery, Delaware Superior Court, and the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.
