Wilmington, Delaware- Bayard Director and co-chair of the firm’s bankruptcy group, Scott D. Cousins is scheduled to speak on a panel at the 16th annual Emory Bankruptcy Developments Symposium at Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, GA on February 21, 2019. Scott is speaking on the Corporate Bankruptcy panel titled Chapter 15 Choice of Law: A Formula for Conveyance Actions in a Shrinking World. The panel will focus on choice of law issues in chapter 15 and address other issues in cross-border insolvency.

Scott D. Cousins has more than 25 years of experience in the restructuring field. He has participated in many of the largest and most complicated business reorganizations, liquidations and distressed sales and acquisitions in Delaware’s state and federal courts. He is also experienced in out of court restructurings and workouts. He has appeared in many bankruptcy jurisdictions across the country.
