Biography
Emily L. Skaug is an associate in Bayard’s Litigation Department. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation in Delaware state and federal courts. Emily represents clients in a broad range of business disputes, including contract, corporate governance, insurance coverage, and fiduciary matters. She has experience handling all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
Before joining Bayard, Emily practiced corporate litigation at a Wilmington law firm. Following law school, she served as a judicial clerk in the Delaware Superior Court, where she clerked for the Honorable John A. Parkins, Jr. and the Honorable Calvin L. Scott, Jr., and worked on matters before the Honorable Paul R. Wallace and the Honorable Jan R. Jurden, then-President Judge of the Delaware Superior Court.
Before joining Bayard, Emily practiced corporate litigation at a Wilmington law firm.
