This selection recognizes Judge Williams’ extensive judicial and dispute resolution experience in complex commercial, employment, technology, and high stakes matters.
The American Arbitration Association National Roster of Arbitrators is composed of distinguished professionals selected for their legal acumen, subject matter expertise, and commitment to the fair, efficient, and impartial resolution of disputes through alternative dispute resolution. Judge Zu brings more than 15 years of judicial and alternative dispute resolution experience to Bayard, P.A. As a former Maryland District Court Judge and Administrative Law Judge, he presided over thousands of matters ranging from high-volume dockets to complex, discovery-intensive disputes involving significant legal and financial exposure. His background includes employment, commercial, civil rights, technology, and intellectual property-related matters, as well as extensive experience facilitating negotiated resolutions in emotionally and financially complex cases. Judge Zu is widely recognized for his thoughtful case management, clear decision-making, and ability to navigate high-stakes disputes with efficiency, fairness, and humanity.
When asked about the honor, Judge Zu said “the American Arbitration Association has long been a place where excellence, preparation, and trust matter. To join its National Roster of Arbitrators is an honor that I do not take lightly. I have spent my career learning that behind every dispute are people trying to protect something they built, something they earned, or something they deeply care about. The work is not just about resolving conflict. It is about restoring clarity, dignity, and forward movement. I remain committed to doing that work with fairness, humanity, and purpose.”
