March 30, 2020

The health and safety of our employees, clients, family, and friends are extremely important to us, thus in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the directions of the Governor and the Chief Justice of the Delaware Supreme Court, we have taken measures that enable us to continue providing our services to clients safely and securely.
We are utilizing the technology and talent we have, to meet the changing demands of this situation with in-person support when necessary. Although our physical office is currently closed, we are operating remotely on our regular schedule. We can be reached by phone and by email, just as if we were in the office. Our family law group is prepared to take new and existing client consultations via phone or video conference, including any emergency matters.
All Delaware courts are physically closed as of March 23rd until at least April 15th. “All non-emergency and non-essential telephonic and video hearings shall proceed at the discretion of each court,” as per Chief Justice Collins J. Seitz, Jr. All essential matters will be handled in-person on a case by cases basis.
As things continue to change rapidly around us, through all of it, Bayard remains steadfast in providing you with the highest quality service we have become known for.
Thank you for your continued trust in Bayard. We wish you good health and happiness during this trying time.
