Bayard’s Intellectual Property Litigation Group are trial lawyers with extensive experience serving as Delaware counsel in legally and technically complex litigation pending in the District of Delaware, one of the busiest venues for patent litigation in the U.S.  Bayard attorneys have served as Delaware counsel in “bet-the-company” patent, copyright, trademark, unfair competition, trade secret, Lanham Act, and contract matters.  Bayard’s experience representing both branded and generic pharmaceutical companies in cases involving the Hatch-Waxman Act, provides a unique perspective to its clients. 
 
Bayard likewise has experience litigating matters involving nearly all business sectors, including software, medical device, consumer, semiconductor, and bio-tech litigation. 
 
Bayard also draws upon its commercial and corporate knowledge and insight and advises clients in connection with merger and acquisition transactions in which intellectual property assets are being acquired, advising clients in connection with loan transactions in which intellectual property assets are serving as collateral, as well as software and intellectual property licenses.
